Using AASP
The AASP page is for creating automatic redirect links, which require users to use a third-party identity provider (IDP), like Google or Microsoft. Requiring a specific IDP is optional. If your organization requires a specific IDP, then each of your schools and/or intermediate organizations needs its own unique entry. To create a new entry, you will need to contact Aspen Technical Support for some of the field values, including whether you want to set the IDP value.
Example: Following is what a link redirected using the district ID and IDP name could look like: https://yourdomain>/aspen-login/(go,desktop,mobile)?deplymentId=dly&districtIdSSO=%2Adst&idpName=Microsoft%20Account%20Go |
To create a new AASP entry:
-
Log on to the District (Root Organization) view.
-
Select Admin > Security > AASP > Options > Add. The New Organization AASP page appears.
-
